Sujatha Vidyalaya - Matara

Sujatha Vidyalaya is situated in the Matara Welliweriye Grama Niladari Division is the leading Buddhist girls school celebrating it's 80th anniversary in year 2009.Sujatha was born under the concept of Matara Buddhist Association in 1929. With 82 years proud history it currently bears student population of over 4500 with classes spanning from 1 to year 13. Every year growing number of students is selected for university education giving enlightened hope for development of Sri Lanka. Over the years since 1929, Sujatha being premier and secondary educational institute and mother to it's daughters to go forward with strength and ability to get glory to the country in the fields of sports, technology and arts too
